Practical guide

Start with purpose and audience

Define the communication, learning or creative outcome, the intended audience and the reason generative media is appropriate. Technology should serve the concept.

Maintain human creative direction

Use art direction, storyboards, reference systems, review criteria and continuity controls. Human judgment remains responsible for meaning, quality and final approval.

Address rights and provenance

Document source assets, model and tool terms, permissions, contributors, edits and final ownership. Do not assume that an output is automatically safe to use.

Build visual consistency

Character, environment, lighting, camera, typography and brand systems require deliberate control across sequences and channels.

Design for accessibility

Provide captions, transcripts, descriptive alternatives, readable typography and appropriate sensory considerations for the audience and medium.

Create review and approval gates

Define who reviews factual claims, brand, legal, privacy, accessibility, cultural context and release readiness. Preserve records of key decisions and assets.
