Privacy and transparency

Privacy Policy

This policy describes how information submitted through the public Atkinson Film-Arts website is handled in the current website configuration.

Current configuration: This policy describes the public website as currently configured. If hosting, email, analytics or service providers change, this policy should be updated to match the deployed environment.

1. Scope

This policy applies to personal information submitted through the public Atkinson Film-Arts website and to limited technical information processed to operate and protect the site.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on the form, information may include your name, organization, work email, role, telephone number if provided, inquiry subject, project or briefing details, preferred response method, and limited technical data used for security such as a hashed network identifier, submission time, browser user agent and source page.

3. Why we use the information

  • To review and respond to inquiries.
  • To assess fit and route requests to the appropriate engagement path.
  • To maintain a record of communications and protect the site from abuse.
  • To meet legal, security and operational obligations.

4. Minimization and sensitive information

Do not submit confidential client data, personal health information, unpublished research, credentials, security details, invention disclosures or other sensitive material through a public website form. The forms are intended for initial business context only.

5. Storage and access

Form submissions are processed by the site and stored outside the public web root. Access is intended for authorized personnel responsible for reviewing and responding to inquiries. Operational retention, deletion, backup and service-provider arrangements are maintained as part of the website’s production administration.

6. Service providers and cross-border processing

Hosting, DNS, security, email and measurement providers may process limited information as required to operate the site and respond to inquiries. Provider or jurisdiction changes that materially affect this policy should be reflected here.

7. Cookies, advertising measurement and enhanced conversions

The site includes a Google Ads measurement tag configured with consent controls. Advertising storage and related advertising signals default to denied and are updated only through the visitor’s consent choice. If Enhanced Conversions is enabled in the Atkinson Google Ads account and you consent to advertising measurement, information you submitted with a successful inquiry, such as an email address and telephone number where provided, may be supplied to the Google tag for privacy-preserving matching. Google normalizes and hashes eligible first-party data before matching. The site does not place that information in the public thank-you URL. See the Cookie Policy for details.

8. Access, correction and questions

Use the contact form and select “Privacy inquiry.” Identity verification may be required before fulfilling a request. Applicable rights depend on the jurisdiction and relationship involved.

9. Changes

This policy is reviewed when the website, forms, providers or applicable legal requirements materially change.

Website preferences and consent records

The website may store your cookie-consent choice and accessibility preferences in first-party browser storage so it can respect those choices. Campaign parameters may be retained for the current session and included with an inquiry. The Google Ads measurement tag is configured with advertising storage and related advertising signals denied by default; those settings are updated through the visitor’s consent choice. Other optional analytics and advertising technologies remain inactive unless configured and permitted.
